The Role

Environmental Officer

  • Coordinate, review and assist the line manager in maintaining all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner covering holistic environmental and sustainability business needs from office to yard operations.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all DDW internal and external stakeholders to ensure the Environmental and sustainability programs are effectively communicated.

  • Carrying out regular inspection and audits across all DDW facilities locally and internationally (Internal as well as external);
  • Communicate / coordinate with other trades in terms of Environmental & sustainability performances
  • Analysing and monitoring Environmental and sustainability performance of their activities for the entire DDW and Divisions;
  • Reporting incidents and non-compliances/Conformity to the HSE Director.
  • Liaise with other discipline supervision to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, with the overall objective of successful completion of the project.
