  • Responsible for overseeing the welding job during offshore campaign
  • Carry out activities associated with pipeline welding on offshore barges/vessels
  • Identify job requirements for personnel, equipment and welding consumables prior to offshore mobilization
  • Select welders for each job and monitor their performance
  • Coordinate with welding inspectors and third party NDT personnel
  • In charge of all welding activities on board the vessel and job site. Reports to the field engineer and barge superintendent
  • Full responsibility over Welding Foremen, pipe facing machine operators, spacers, pipeline welders and helpers assigned for the project

  • Ensure that necessary clearance/work permit is obtained before mobilization/demobilization.
  • Review anchor patterns and ensure that the barge is set up as per approved patterns.

  • Identify hazards, assess and record risks in a Risk Management Register, and find ways to mitigate such risks.
  • Compile data for various reports on barge activities and discuss the progress of work/issues with the client counterpart on board the barge.
  • Work closely with the Barge Foreman to plan and schedule barge construction activities
  • Monitor catering services provided to barge personnel.
  • Ensure that all barge personnel follow safety measures during implementation of installation procedures and conduct meetings on safety, fire drills and abandon ship drills on a regular basis.
  • Supervise warehousing of stores on the barge to ensure safe upkeep and maintenance of equipment and project material and effective use of available space.
  • Schedule leave breaks for barge personnel ensuring that all operations are effectively carried out all the time on the barge.
  • Plan and coordinate with the base office on future schedules of the barge for upcoming projects.
  • Ensure that all personnel on the barge and at base are well informed about the progress of operations, issues, future work plans and other operation related matters. Job Purpose

Execute Projects engineer related tasks, for Facility Management activities, acting as owner of project’s standards (planning, control, delivery, development, Project Management). The scope of this program includes Engineering, Procurement, Maintenance, Installation & Commissioning Management.

The Engineer oversees organizing and supervising the execution of Facility Management Service. Together with the Operation team, the engineer is responsible for choosing the most economical, safe, and successful method to carry out the project.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day coordination, execution, and progress of project with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance team, Contractors, Vendors and third parties.
  • In consultation with Operation Manager prepare the necessary Project Execution documentation (Project Execution Plan, Interface and coordination procedure etc.)
  • Prepare Tender strategy and Tender evaluations for all the items being procured for the Project.
  • Expediting with Subcontractors on Testing and Material delivery.
  • Responsible for the project's administration, cost control, and budgeting.
  • Manage budgets to control costs and provide guidance on budget variances.
  • Plan the deployment of personnel, auxiliary equipment, and subcontractors.
