Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Ability to present and brainstorm research findings with both technical and non-technical/business audiences.

Minimum Qualifications:

Camfil Middle East is looking for a Sales Engineer to develop new business, manage existing channel partners/distributors/OEM’s as well as identifying and onboarding new partners to deliver strong and steadily increasing sales growth as well as growing market share of filtration products in all addressable segments throughout East Africa Region.

The ability to explain and grasp technical concepts in a concise manner that leads to profitable results is necessary for this position. A passion for sales innovation is a must. Prior sales experience with a proven track record for delivering results in multiple territories is required. The ideal candidate should be able to work well in a team to manage and lead a distributor network to deliver effective sales results and market coverage in the designated territories.


THE ROLE INVOLVES INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL, PRIMARILY IN EAST AFRICA.

ROLE PRIORITIES:

  • Grow sales and market share of Camfil Air Filtration products in all addressable segments throughout East Africa region.

We are looking for a talented and versatile individual with an understanding of the Middle East specifically and the international marketing landscape more broadly, particularly the U.S. The role will require a strong strategic mind to work on ideating, pitching and producing world-class custom content campaigns for clients in the Middle East that resonate with The Wall Street Journal’s audience of decision makers worldwide. JOB DESCRIPTION

2. JOB PURPOSE: To be part of the Compliance System and Model Validation function team and to achieve below objectives with a focus on Fircosoft deployments across the group:

  1. Help in development and implementation of Fircosoft System Governance Framework (Comprehensive framework consisting of automated control processes with a view to prove/validate system performance thereby improving overall control environment and regulatory performance in Fircosoft models) for Fircosoft deployments across the group.
  2. Develop programs and automated procedures to deploy the automated controls that constitute the System Governance framework.
  3. Monitor and validate system and data architecture performance on a periodic basis using control and reconciliation mechanisms deployed as part of the system governance framework.
  4. Build testing and monitoring controls in order to ensure that the models deployed in bank are working as intended and capable enough to recommend for any changes in the system functionality or configurations which are found as part of the reviews.
  5. Experience in analysing the settings in the Fircosoft system and validate it against the industry benchmarks or standards.
  6. Good Understanding in various sanctions risk/red flags, in order to validate it against the nature of the risk arising from the data of transactions and customer emanates from different businesses.
  7. Good knowledge in rules management “Tuning”, List management and Change governance process to review the current designs and verifying the operating effectiveness of the design.

The Trust is looking to hire a Creative Director and Strategist based in the Middle East. You will report to the Executive Director, Content.

We are looking for a talented and versatile individual with an understanding of the Middle East specifically and the international marketing landscape more broadly, particularly the U.S. The role will require a strong strategic mind to work on ideating, pitching and producing world-class custom content campaigns for clients in the Middle East that resonate with The Wall Street Journal’s audience of decision makers worldwide. You will drive creative vision and content development across formats for clients in the region and beyond. You will work with the Executive Director of Content and other creatives across EMEA and APAC, and with our Integrated Marketing team to understand client demands and produce sophisticated and intelligent campaigns that sell. In many senses, you will have a consultative approach, helping clients understand the unique position that the Wall Street Journal holds and how best to partner to support client goals.

This role will need a dynamic and self-starting individual who can work fluently alongside sales teams, will understand how a campaign is priced and constructed and will have a strong sense of feasibility and practicality of pitched programs. A strong book of contacts in the Middle East is an advantage.

You will need a gift for communication in both written and spoken forms - being easily able to convey ideas concisely with clear and compelling concepts and visuals. You must be able to deliver C-Level presentations in a client-facing role spanning different regions and cultures. Fluent spoken and written Arabic is a distinct advantage.

We are looking for at least 10 years of demonstrated success in at least two of the following: journalism, creative direction, marketing and/or brand strategy, film & audio, custom content. A strong handle on agencies and the client landscape in the regions is a plus. The role requires this individual to be client facing at the highest levels and to be able to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice.
