MEP QA/QC Engineer

We are looking for an MEP QA/QC ENGINEER with the following qualifications:

Requirement:

  • Should be able to coordinate and supervise the testing by field teams in supervision and certification of the work according to industrial standards.
  • Should have good technical & material knowledge
  • Should have clear understanding about QA/QC procedures, approvals, validations, evaluation and documentation.
  • Should be able to assist the project team to achieve the project targets in time.
  • Should be able to monitor and calibration plans, equipment, and testing instruments.
  • Keep track of testing approvals and all the procedures in a timely manner.
  • Ability to prepare and submit regular reports on the progress.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in MEP Engineering (Mandatory)
  • 1-2 years of experience as QA/QC Engineer on site.
  • UAE Driving License is a must

Project Engineer – IAS Division

Job description

We are seeking a talented Automation Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical/automation projects. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in automation systems, and project management. If you are a detail-oriented professional with a passion for innovation, we encourage you to apply.

  • Coordinates project execution activities to ensure that all Instrumentation and control projects are implemented within budget and schedule.
  • Monitors project progress through project coordination meetings and other means, against project schedules and budgets; deploy resources as required to accomplish these goals.
  • Responsible for managing a team of multi-disciplined team during construction and commissioning of Instrumentation and control type projects, ensuring the site is controlled and managed per the clients standards.
  • Monitoring contractors and ensuring the control & instrumentation design intent is maintained for all systems and associated field equipment.
  • Ensure works are engineered and constructed in compliance with all HSE requirements.
  • Technically astute with all aspects of control and instrumentation (design basis to P&ID developments, field instrumentation, control and safety systems, etc.)
  • Develops overall plans, schedule of activities, budgets resource requirements and controls the project as per the project plan.
  • Obtain approvals from clients for all the material approvals, shop drawings and work execution schedules.
  • Reviews proposals, keeps track of project finance and costing, highlight deviation.
  • Reviews and studies the scope of works described by the contract document, project specifications, contract drawings and BOQ.
  • Prepares work execution schedule with start/finish dates for all project activities and submits to the client for approval.
  • Coordinates with procurement department for order, approval and timely delivery of all instrumentation and control materials
  • Coordinate with vendors to perform Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
  • Provide Senior Management with periodic status reports of site operation and construction activities.
  • Ensure compliance of codes, standards, regulations and practices applicable to design and construction (e.g. API, ASME, ANSI, AGA, ISA, etc) including HSE and environmental compliance

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
  • Experience with PLC control systems.
  • HSE Certification
