This position is for the rank of assistant professor or associate professor in the following areas: Digital Transformation, Information Systems, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Data Science, Business Intelligence, and other related fields.


The College of Technological Innovation (CTI) seeks to produce graduates recognized by business, government, and educational institutions in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Gulf Region, and the rest of the world. It also seeks to develop a strong applied research capacity in emerging technologies directed towards meeting the ICT needs of the UAE and Gulf region. The CTI academic programs are practical, competency-based, and designed to prepare students for successful careers as Information Technology professionals.


At the undergraduate level, CTI offers two bachelor’s degrees: Information Systems and Technology Management and Information Technology.   • Analyze tender documents, including drawings, specifications, and contract terms, to ensure a full understanding of project requirements.
  • Prepare and compile all necessary documentation for tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and deadlines.
  • Estimate project costs accurately during the tendering phase, considering all aspects of construction, labor, and materials.
  • Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and ensure accuracy in cost estimation and proposal preparation.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to define project scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor bids to recommend the best options based on cost, quality, and delivery time.
  • Negotiate terms and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure favorable conditions for the company.
  • Prepare technical and financial proposals, ensuring that they align with client expectations and company capabilities.
  • Maintain an organized and up-to-date database of tender submissions, suppliers, and subcontractor information.
  • Monitor and report on the status of tender submissions, ensuring all deadlines are met and project updates are communicated effectively to management.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in the tendering and proposals process within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of the tendering process, including cost estimation and technical proposal preparation.
  • Familiarity with Saudi construction standards, regulations, and the Etimad platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, cost estimation software, and other related tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic.
