· Prepare the Final Tender Documents (Specification, drawing) & Prepare documentation sufficient for authority submission.
· Should be familiar with Dubai Authorities Approvals.
· Co-ordination with other departments concerned at various stages of the project
· Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
· Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design
· Coordinate Architectural/Engineering activities with those of other disciplines and project management team within the Engineering Department.
· Prepare quality and presentation conscious technical correspondence, reports, and studies
· Review, verify and approve all contractors’ architectural material submittals complying with the project specifications, approved drawings, applicable code, standards.
· Review, Verify and approve prequalification documents of manufacturers and suppliers.
· Witness’s contractors’ material selection, installation and quality control inspections to ensure that the permanent and finishing works are constructed according to the contract, applicable codes, standards, approved drawings and specifications and as per client request
· Reviews contractor-submitted architectural shop drawings, material submittals, interiors and exterior finishes, mock-ups, landscaping, and coordinates with the concerned departments for obtaining their approval and/or comments.
· Coordinates work with engineering and construction units at project site. Reviews, approves, and issues detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others related to the architecture
· Assists in coordinating the compilation of technical portions of Requests for Proposal (RFP) for both the design and construction portions of assigned projects.
· Review Contractors daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and ensure accuracy and completeness of all documentation and reports.
· Assist management with all Architectural issues raised on site.
