Our Chemical client based in Qatar is looking to hire a "Document Administrator - Electronic Document Management System",

Qualifications and Required Experience

  • Experience required minimum 15 years; experience required in multi discipline designs fields (Petrochemical & Oil/Gas Industries).
  • Experience required in EDMS, 3D modelling and review, understand, and design all project drawing deliverables.
  • Experience required in reviewing/controlling the deliverables and coordinating with contractor.
  • Experience required in Petrochemicals Industries, Oil & Gas, site shops drawings, supervise contractor site survey, understand the redline markup drawings and designs office activities.

Position: - Project Officer Instrumentation and Control

The Project Officer oversees the contractor selection, detailed engineering, tendering, evaluation, construction contractor, procurement, construction, installation, pre-commissioning commissioning and handing over of the project. Project tracking from the commencement to the end timely & financially with all the specified deliverables.

▪ Minimum Qualifications:
a. bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering.

▪ Minimum Experience:
a. Formal training in Project Management is required.
b. A sound knowledge of relevant Computer applications including MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management related applications including Primavera, MS Project and AutoCAD.

▪ Required Skills:
a. At least 10 years experience in managing construction, commissioning & hand over of engineering projects in refinery / petrochemical / chemical plants with a demonstrable track record in compliance with Health, Safety, Security & Environment standards.
b. Supervision of the Contractors. Project Officer is required to directly supervise Contactor's employees which may number up to 100 or more at times. Contractors (employees) generally are of a diverse mix of nationalities and language groups.
c. Coordination and management of Projects requires extensive scheduling and advance planning capabilities to foresee and avoid delays. The Project Officer shall demonstrate expert abilities in this area to assist all stakeholders (Plant Management and Contractor) in achieving or improving upon targets.
d. Previous exposure to engineering & construction Codes, Standards and recommended practices including QCS, Electrical & Instrumentation is essential.
e. Experience in the development of all Instrument & control system documents such as P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument mounting details, vessel sketches, control panel layouts, data sheets of instruments and final control elements, and the development of control strategies and narratives of various processes.
f. Experienced in Installation, calibration, and loop checking of the field instruments (flow, level, temperature, pressure, and analytical).
