The Division of Engineering at New York University Abu Dhabi, is seeking a motivated research scientist to work under the supervision of Prof. Marwa Chafii on the physical layer design of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) for 6G systems.
Applicants must hold a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field, and have a minimum of than 5 years of postdoctoral experience. The position requires strong expertise in communication theory, signal processing, and optimization theory. A proven track record of publications in relevant IEEE journals and conferences is required. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, scientific creativity and innovative thinking are essential.
The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment comprising PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.

A successful crypto currency exchange based in Dubai, UAE, is looking to hire an Executive Assistant to our Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of the digital currency realm, exemplary communication abilities in both English and Chinese and the capability to be on-call and travel on-demand.
Responsibilities will include providing administrative support to the CFO, managing their calendar, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence. You will also assist in financial planning and budgeting processes, helping to develop and monitor budgets, prepare financial reports, including income statements and balance sheets, for review by the CFO and maintain and organise financial documents, records, and files to ensure accessibility and compliance. You will also conduct research on financial topics, market trends, and industry benchmarks to support decision making and collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
You will be called upon to handle confidential financial information with discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality. Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for board meetings and stakeholders; coordinate and communicate financial matters between the CFO and other team members; help with financial analysis, such as cost analysis, revenue analysis, and profitability assessments and participate in special financial projects and initiatives as directed by the CFO. You will also assist in compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements and prepare and process financial transactions, such as invoices and expense reports. You will monitor financial deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports and filings and stay updated on industry best practices and financial software to enhance efficiency.
You will have familiarity with the digital currency business, proficiency in English; mastery in Chinese is a distinct advantage. You will have unrestricted travel availability. At least 5 years of experience in an executive assistant role or similar capacity. A bachelors degree in Finance or a related discipline would be required.
