The Teaching, Learning and Development Lab (TLD) in the Division of Science, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research and lab manager to work on research related to early childhood development (ECD) and the role of caregivers during the early years. The successful applicant will be well prepared to take a leadership role in overseeing a variety of projects and manage day-to-day lab procedures to produce a smooth workflow in the TLD lab. Experience in ECD research and participant recruitment in the UAE and the ability to speak and read Arabic fluently are considered significant strengths, as much of the research associated with the position will be conducted in the UAE and the greater Middle East region. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.
