Renad Academy is a special school, specifically designed to meet the needs of autistic children. Currently, programs to support autistic children in Qatar are limited and cannot meet demand. Renad Academy is a school where children receive an appropriate and individualized education. Services provided include a thorough assessment to determine strengths and needs, direct instruction in a 2:1 ratio setting, social skills training, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, in-home training for parents and collaboration with the community. Renad Academy is currently working towards achieving NAS accreditation for early 2025. We are in need of Teachers specialising in Autism to teach in classrooms of 6-10 children. Positions are sought to work within Early Years, Primary and Middle school grade levels.

Required:

PROFILE

  • A 3 - 4 year Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or an equivalent course in Supply Chain
  • 1 - 2 years of relevant supply chain industry experience (SC planning, production, warehousing, transportation, IT and operational excellence) is desirable
  • Candidate needs to be self-motivated and shall show interest in continuous improvement of capabilities even if it demands additional efforts or time on their part

  • Able to read AutoCAD drawings, prepare basic sketches using AutoCAD drawings. Able to interpret basic logistics drawings including functional areas, storage system, calculating area, checking dimensions, etc.

Chief, Child Survival and Development (CSD) shall be responsible for the overall management and administration in the development, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the Child Survival and Development programme that covers Health & Nutrition, ECD, WASH and climate change programme in the context of child survival and development within the country programme. Technical support is provided to government and non-government organizations at all stages of the programme cooperation, including capacity building of government personnel and beneficiaries, and through back-up partnerships with relevant specialists organizations as appropriate.

Monitoring and evaluation of programme performance undertaken for adjustment, acceleration and improvement of program delivery, capitalizing on joint global monitoring and evaluation frameworks such as the Child Health epidemiology Reference Group for child health and nutrition, and with WFP in the areas of food and nutrition.

Work plan and objectives are effectively established, performance is managed, and planned results are timely delivered through exercise of strong programme management leadership; partnership frameworks that pool competencies and resources developed.

The capacities of Country Office staff are strengthened through effective capacity building programme, which also build on technical partnerships with collaborating agencies to provide state-of-the-art technical information to staff ? in the development, implementation and management of the CSD programme.

UNICEF, Government and implementing partners accountability is ensured for supply and non-supply assistance and disbursement of programme funds for the sector.
