Description of Responsibility

  • Responsible for the HVAC and fire fighting engineering of the Project and in particular for the optimization of the technical solutions implemented.
  • Provides expertise and technical support to the Project as necessary.
  • Contributes to achievement of the overall Projects objectives, together with project manager and purchasing manager.
  • Responsible as a key contact point throughout the project to ensure that engineering deliverables are meeting the client`s requirements, Purchase order clearance in line with technical evaluation reports, and scope management with suppliers, design Institute/subcontractors and Owner/Developer.
  • Review of Tender documents to understand the scope of work, client specifications etc. and prepare technical offers, technical clarifications and list of deviations when required.
  • Knowledge of design work at all stages (Bidding/Basic/Detail) drawing calculation and document preparation & review of Firefighting systems, Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system for industrial EPC projects.
  • Preparation & Review of concept designs & design basis reports along with the recommendation of suitable Sizing calculations, control description & construction drawings. Capacity finalization of HVAC Units Sizing & Selection of Chillers, AHUs, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Exhaust Fans, FCU’s, Pressurization Units, Grills, Diffusers, Duct, Fan, Pressure relief dampers, and Sand traps etc. for the whole project.
  • Preparation & review of Firefighting systems design criteria, Fire risk assessment, selection and sizing of various equipment like Pumping system, hydrant, sprinklers, foam system, fire water demand calculations, Ring main, pipe & valve sizing, potable extinguisher etc. Along with the associated layouts and general arrangement drawings.
  • Expertise in the site survey requirements, Hazardous area classification, HAZOP, HAZID etc. report review.
  • Coordinate effectively with other Disciplines Architects and engineers throughout project lifecycles and meetings with suppliers, design institutes, and owner and owner`s engineers for the approvals of design.
  • Understand owner/client design requirements prior to the commencement of any design project.

Relevant Experience:

· Experience in preparation of Sizing calculations, P&ID, System & Control descriptions of HVAC & Fire fighting and protection system.

· Experience with the software used in various calculations, Designing of HVAC and Firefighting for various industrial applications.

· Well-versed with related International Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards, including International Plumbing Code, International Fire Code, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), ASME, Building codes, Safety Norms and local GCC regulations.

· Understanding of 3D model development, layout drawing development & review in totality along with the necessary resolution for all the clashes and inconsistencies found.

· Ability to quickly assess and make recommendations (rapid problem solving) for any relevant subject matter.

· Experience in Developing the layout arrangement & various equipment arrangement requirements during the design stage.

Experience to manage and prepare the Bill of quantity, providing input for the project schedule & resource requirements and support to the site team.

Position Summary / Objective:

The Therapeutic Area Partner (TAP) role is a field-based role with aim of providing scientific exchange in his/her respective therapeutic area.

The TAP will be the primary point of contact for Health Care Professionals (HCPs), thus generating overall higher HCP engagement in a timely manner. In addition, the TAP is expected to interact with a broader sphere of stakeholders beyond treating physicians (clinical pharmacist, HEOR expert, multiple disciplinary team, etc...). This role will prioritize the safe and appropriate use of BMS products, all while focusing on overall performance objectives and exemplifying BMS values.

It is anticipated that a TAP will spend a minimum of 90% of the time in the field with HCPs including interactions and activities.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Disease Awareness and Treatment Landscape expertise
  • Maintain a high level of disease expertise.
  • Collect and synthesize large volumes of clinical data and provide key relevant insights to internal stakeholders, in order to inform future strategic direction (ex: from conferences).
  • Understand the treatment landscape including mapping of HCPs and prepare to address their information needs.
  • Understand knowledge and care gaps in territory and implement learning programs to address HCP needs.
2. Scientific Engagement and Product-related Communication
  • Prepare and successfully implement a comprehensive territory plan as per the agreed metrics and KPIs.
  • Effectively prepare for presentation and discussion of information to HCPs and be able to respond to questions, while ensuring medical accuracy.
  • Proactive communications with physicians and other HCPs in support of approved indications.
  • Reactively answer unsolicited scientific and product related questions, while leveraging internally approved tools.
  • Maintain high level of working expertise on emerging data covering BMS products.
  • Collect and provide meaningful medical insights back to the internal team to be actioned in support of the strategy development.
3. Product Enlistment and Economic Value Engagement
  • Develop hospital mapping to enable customized plans per hospital.
  • Understand & develop Patient Journey per hospital to identify access barriers and facilitate the formulary enlisting.
  • Work closely with key HCPs across different hospitals and institutions etc. to expedite access and formulary enlistment of approved indications and products.
  • Communicate scientific and economic value of BMS products to HCPs (clinical pharmacists, treating physicians, other relevant stakeholders etc...).
  • Discuss and deliver Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) evidence based information to the relevant stakeholders (i.e., to government agencies, healthcare organizations), as appropriate.
4. Cross-functional collaboration and Execution
  • Build strong working relationships with key external and internal stakeholders in order to fully understand HCPs challenges and concerns in a complex access environment.
  • Develop and deliver plans aligned with the cross-functional team and product objectives.
  • Deliver scientifically meaningful programs regarding the diseases and ensure flawless execution of activities to support overarching plan.
  • Proactively seek cross-functional input to ensure optimal understanding of treatment landscape.
5. Compliance
  • Endorse and implement a culture of compliance.
  • Adhere to all internal and external rules and regulations.
  • Alert management or the Compliance Department to any possible compliance issues.
  • Act as a role model who demonstrates consistent ethical and professional behavior.
Degree, License & other Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Pharmacist with relevant pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, Master's degree is considered an asset.
  • Saudi Commission for Health Specialties valid license.
  • Saudi Nationals only.
Experience Requirements:
  • Working in a scientific role with 2+ years' experience.
  • Ability to communicate scientific or clinical data in an understandable and valuable manner to help HCPs best serve their patients.
  • Ability to develop and effectively manage new and existing HCPs relationships. Such HCPs ideally include key opinion leaders.
  • Have pre-existing cardiovascular experience is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrate ability to work effectively cross-functionally and independently.

  • High level of scientific acumen, including the ability to interpret and present clinical data and effectively draw out clinical insights during dialogue with HCPs.
  • Possesses a strong operations acumen.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Rotary Engineer with experience in Oil Terminal Projects to join our team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of rotary equipment in oil terminal facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in the design and engineering of rotary equipment, such as pumps, compressors, turbines, and motors, for oil terminal projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Assisting in conducting technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to determine the most suitable rotary equipment configurations for oil terminal applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, and procurement packages for rotary equipment components.
  • Supporting the procurement process by reviewing vendor proposals, conducting technical evaluations, and recommending equipment selections based on project requirements and budget constraints.
  • Assisting in the coordination of equipment installation, commissioning, and startup activities, ensuring alignment with project schedules and quality standards.
  • Participating in site inspections, equipment testing, and troubleshooting activities to identify and resolve operational issues and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Contributing to the development of preventive maintenance programs and procedures for rotary equipment, monitoring equipment performance, and recommending enhancements to optimize reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in engineering design, installation, and maintenance of rotary equipment, preferably in Oil Terminal Projects within the oil and gas industry.
  • Solid understanding of rotary equipment principles, applications, and design standards relevant to oil terminal facilities.
  • Proficiency in engineering software tools and technologies used for rotary equipment design and analysis.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
  • Familiarity with industry regulations, codes, and standards applicable to rotary equipment in oil and gas installations.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and delivering results in a dynamic project environment.
