Understanding of treasury systems Quantum, FXT, FXALL, Bloomberg and EIKON.

Implementation and support of different Card and Payments Products for a multi-national bank

5-7 years of banking experience in Treasury domain.

Key Accountabilities of the role

Mechanical Engineer ( Construction & Fit Out)

Responsible for planning and design in the areas of mechanical, HVAC and plumbing, Fire (M&EP) systems including, inspection procedures. May prepare and will review drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for the mechanical, electrical, and/or HVAC and plumbing systems.


1) Mechanical design, relevant calculations and site supervision of services like HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Drainage, Water supply, Irrigation etc.

2) Preparation of detailed design layouts, schematics, sections and coordination drawings.

3) Supervision of the MEP draughtsman and make necessary review, correction and guidelines with respect to company standards.

4) Liaison with authorities, lead necessary submissions and approvals from relevant authorities.

5) Reviewing, approval / commenting on shop drawings, coordination drawings, method of statements and material submittals.

6) Teaming up with other team members like site supervisors/foreman and inspectors to accomplish the target in agreed timelines including subcontracting works.

7) Discussing and solving complexities with client representatives, sub consultants, manufacturing departments, sub-contractors and suppliers.

8) Developing a project specification along collaboration with different disciplines, often including those from other engineering disciplines either in-house / contractors or client side.

9) Traveling to the various sites to complete physical inspections and site surveys (if required).

10) Prepare and maintain project documents per agreed deliverables like correspondence, minutes of meeting, notes etc.

11) Allocation and distribution and follow up of task within the team, checking of works produced.

12) Advice on cost-effective equipment modifications to help improve safety, reliability and throughput.

13) Development of process flow and procedure for MEP department using research, analytical, conceptual and planning skills.

14) Attend or acquire necessary technical trainings pertaining to MEP / Revit Modeling, get acquainted with respect to modern practices and master on implementing those according to the company requirements.

15) Support department in technical interviews while upgrading mechanical engineering department according to new resource requirements as may arise.

Position: - Civil Project Engineer

The Project Engineer oversees the contractor selection, detailed engineering, tendering, evaluation, construction contractor, procurement, construction, installation, pre-commissioning commissioning and hand over of the project. Project tracking of the laboratory chemical storage project from commencement to end timely & financially with all the specified deliverables.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum Experience:
  • Formal training in Project Management is required.
  • A sound knowledge of relevant Computer applications including MS Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management related applications including Primavera, MS Project and AutoCAD.
  • Candidates needs to have sound knowledge of QCS's fifth edition, that was released in 2014 is Mandatory
  • Experience in communication with goverment bodies / regulatory bodies based in Qatar is Mandatory.
Required Skills: * At least 10 years' experience in managing construction, commissioning & hand over of engineering projects in refinery / petrochemical / chemical plants with a demonstrable track record in compliance with Health, Safety & Environment standards.
  • Previous exposure to engineering & construction Codes, Standards and recommended practices including QCS, API, NFPA, OSHA, and ASTM is essential.
  • Coordination and management of Projects requires extensive interaction with Mesaieed Industrial City (MIC), QCDD (Qatar Civil Defence Department), KAHRAMAA, OOREDOO authorities and other regulatory bodies for obtaining approvals to cross common boundaries. This often involves extensive negotiations.
  • Supervision of the Contractors. Required to directly supervise Contactor's employees, which may number up to 100. Contractors (employees), generally of a diverse mix of nationalities and language groups.
  • Coordination and management of Projects requires extensive scheduling and advance planning capabilities to foresee and avoid delays. The Project Engineer shall demonstrate expert abilities in this area to assist all stakeholders (Plant Management and Contractor) in achieving or improving upon targets.

    Project Engineer

    Site Project Management

    · Assist in site selection and prepare the detailed survey report by performing on-site design services, interpreting drawings, specs, codes, standards, regulatory requirements, and carrying out field engineering work

    · Prepare detailed project plans for site development including project costing, timelines and development schedules and coordinate for approvals

    · Nominate, evaluate and appoint consultants and contractors / suppliers / vendors including negotiation of rates and contractual terms and obligations

    · Manage vendor relationships including conducting planning session with vendors and service providers and define project and performance expectations

    · Identify and evaluate new products / solutions including material to be used bearing in mind quality and cost effectiveness

    · Provide material specifications and oversee procurement of the material from suppliers

    · Coordinate with external agencies like Architectural Consultants, Material suppliers, Construction agencies etc. so as to ensure that the project is completed within the scheduled time period in a efficient and effective way

    · Supervise all the activities on-site and coordinate with Concept to regularly provide feedback on the progress of work/project

    Guide and manage the manpower deployed onsite including Supervisors and contractor labor

    Technical Supervision : Oversee and manage:

    · Any construction and interior design related work in the existing stores and new stores

    · Any electricity related work in the existing stores and new stores

    · Any carpentry related work in the existing stores and new stores

    · Any plumbing related work in the existing stores and new stores

    · Review Civil / MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing) drawings till completion

    · Coordinate with MEP, municipal authorities and PRO for approvals of Civil signage’s and municipality permissions

    Store Format Design / Re-design

    · Conceptualize / Redesign store formats for the Concept in line with the customer, store requirements and latest market trends

    · Develop complete design for the showroom that will include a comprehensive floor plan, exterior elevations, interior elevations, A/c diffuse allocation, lightning, graphic imaging (3D Presentation) and all material selections and finishes

    · Develop designs for all other features / utilities of the store such as building placement / orientation, parking lot layout / flow, service vehicle access

    · Deliver detailed specifications and clear, concise, comprehensive, and complete engineering / interior drawings as required

    · Ensure that all the designs and drawings are as per the company standards

    · Develop the zoning in the store as per the categories of products to be displayed by bearing in mind the principles of space management and profiles of the target consumers

    · Review and process all shop drawing/sample submissions and consult within the Projects Team and External Consultants, as appropriate, to ensure the design intent is being maintained

    · Conduct existing conditions surveys and prepare architectural base plans, sections, elevations and details as appropriate to document relevant conditions

    · Coordinate with the Operations team to get their inputs on the design, which includes the floor plan, elevations etc.

    · Provide expertise in detail development and assisting in researching products and systems that accomplish the design intent

    · Review and recommend to the retail team any changes that may be required to renovate the existing stores

    Miscellaneous

    · Keep oneself abreast about new shop fittings / elements and suggest material to be used

    Build and share knowledge of the latest retail design trends and computer aided technologies available

    HR Officer

    Responsible for day to day operations and supervise the team

    Coordinates all Admin related activities such as Camp, Transportation, Visa , Insurance

    Investigates accidents and prepares reports . Recommending Disciplinary actions.
