  1. Assist in the development of the project safety program.
  2. Establish and conduct job-site orientation for every new employee for the project, administer and record their participation in the orientation program, and issue identification to those employees completing the orientation program.
  3. Attend all initial meetings with the Project Staff and Subcontractor representatives to clearly define their role within the confines of the Project Safety Program.

IT Specialist – Applications

The IT Specialist – Applications will be responsible to implement and support both software and hardware solutions critical to the container terminal operations, at CMA Terminals - Khalifa Port. This includes working on applications such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Terminal Operating Systems (TOS) and database management.

Pre-Go-live:

· Oversee the implementation and acceptance testing of terminal IT applications contracted with suppliers.

· Plan and develop the processes and procedures for future operations, in collaboration with the IT team.

· Continuous review of intended IT installations and time-schedule to secure a timely go-live.

· Understand and develop interfacing system between Applications, SQL and Oracle Database Management.


Post Go-live:

· Ensure the IT Infrastructure systems (hardware, software, equipment systems) are always available and accessible to designated users 24x7.

· Actively respond to incidents, following incident management practices.

· Effectively manage service contracts, SLAs, and OLAs.

· Configure, install and maintain IT infrastructure, modules, and their interfaces; and establish and maintain operational processes and security, as well as the defined access rights.

· Ensure continuous service improvements in system functionalities/performance, mitigate and report identified risks and ensure patching of new releases are carried out as required.
