Position: Legal Advisor & Public Relations
The purpose of this position is to oversee all the legal transactions on behalf of the company, both locally and internationally, including liaison with government and ministries, and to provide advice and suggestions to the management and employees on all legal issues.
Key Responsibilities:
❏ Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of real estate matters, including property acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, construction and development.
❏ Interpret and ensure compliance with local real estate laws and regulations in GCC.
❏ Draft, review, and negotiate real estate agreements related to real estate including without limitation Contracting, Sales & Purchase and Lease agreement.
❏ Ensure that contractual terms protect the organization's interests and comply with legal requirements.
❏ Drafting and reviewing international portfolios/commercial agreements, contracts and other legal documents and providing comments and observations in detail.
❏ Conduct due diligence and title searches on real estate properties to assess their legal status and potential risks.
❏ Prepare comprehensive reports outlining findings and recommendations.
❏ Assist in the structuring and execution of real estate transactions, including the preparation of transaction documentation before all related.
❏ Governmental & Non-Governmental entities and coordination with external parties.
❏ Ensure all regulatory and legal approvals are obtained.
❏ Stay up-to-date with changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices in GCC.
❏ Conduct legal research to provide insights and recommendations for decision-making.
❏ Assist in the resolution of real estate disputes, which may include negotiations, mediation, or, if necessary, litigation.
❏ Collaborate with external legal counsel when needed.
❏ Maintain accurate and organized legal records and documentation related to real estate transactions.
❏ Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
❏ Collaborate with internal teams, including real estate, finance, and operations, to address legal issues and provide guidance.
❏ Build strong working relationships with external legal partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders.

❏ Conduct legal and factual research and data analysis as directed.
❏ Negotiate specific contractual issues and agreements with external entities as appropriate.
❏ Responsible for certifying and attesting documents intended for use anywhere in the world.
❏ Ensure all documents are verified thoroughly in respect of all required legal formalities.
❏ Assist in investigations and legally advise the company regarding legal disputes and claims.
❏ Participate in meetings and conferences pertaining to resolution of contracting issues.
❏ Updating management with any new laws locally or internationally.

Minimum Requirements:
❏ Bachelor's Degree in law. Current practicing certificate (or equivalent membership of recognized professional law body).
❏ Minimum 7 years to 10 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), preferably in Commercial and real estate Investments legal experience gained internationally or with a leading regional firm. Should possess a consistent career history.
❏ Knowledge of Kuwaiti Law
❏ Knowledge of various major international legal system (UK, USA, France etc.)
❏ Should be able to draft Arabic and International legal contracts.
❏ Proficient in MS Office, email, tech savvy.
❏ Ability to deal with diverse clientele across nations.

Acted relies on an in-depth knowledge of local territories and contexts to develop and implement relevant long-term actions, with a wide range of local and international partners, building together a “3ZERO” world: Zero Exclusion, Zero Carbon, Zero Poverty
Through its coordination office in Amman, Acted is working in Jordan to meet the needs of the refugee populations in the country, with a shift from lifesaving activities to long-term livelihoods programming. Acted also provides support to Jordanian host populations and local actors, also affected by the challenges faced by the country, ensuring all can access basic services. In Za’atari camp, Azraq camp and Mafraq, Acted teams play a key role in the management and coordination of refugee camps, support to informal tented settlement populations and provide emergency assistance to ensure people’s access to food, water and hygiene and sanitation facilities. More broadly, Acted works with municipalities and community organizations to build capacity and promote sustainable solutions.
The Project Development Volunteer (PDV) ensures proper grant management by developing qualitative project progress reports in compliance with donors’ rules. The PDV facilitates smooth internal communication and coordination with relevant departments and contributes to Acted external communication strategy. The PDV contributes to fundraising efforts by participating in the development of project proposals in line with Acted’s global and in-country programme strategy.

Primary Purpose of the Job:
Operate the machines on the production lines filling composite cylinders with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and participate in cylinder maintenance activities such as pressure testing of cylinders LPG, repair of cylinder valves, casing etc
Principal Accountabilities:
· Responsible to operate cylinder filling hall equipment efficiently and safely as per the LPG plant operations manual.
· Responsible to check, segregate and repair LPG cylinder pallets identified for operations such as replacement of cables, closing bars, repairs and scrapping and as instructed/ required by the LPG Plant Operations Manual.
· Responsible for assisting Production Senior Operator /Production Operator in all operational activities in the Filling Hall.
· Prepares equipment and machine before start-up/ shut down and participates in such activities in accordance with defined procedures.
· Ensures all pre-fill and post-fill checks are properly carried out on LPG cylinders as required by the LPG Plant Operations Manual
· Perform the duties of cylinder receipt / dispatch as per the loading requests received and document the delivery/ receipt details.
· Performs duties required to ensure quality and safety of the LPG filled cylinders, document the machine breakdowns, throughput, test/ checks results etc in the log sheets.
· Perform the duties required as Authorized Gas tester and carryout gas testing as per the instruction of the Plant Senior Operator
· Responsible for ensuring the housekeeping of the workplace, including the cleaning and washing of the equipment.
· Responsible for safe handling of cylinders, including stacking and de-stacking, loading & unloading to/from the trucks manually.
· Operates fire-fighting equipment and perform the roles as defined in the Emergency Response Plans
· Carry out other and similar duties as assigned by Production Senior Operator/ Production Operator.
