Facilities Management:

  • Co-ordinate and supervise the allocation of work and formulation of work schedules of ancillary employees and sub-contractor personnel to always ensure adequate cover.

  • Implement, monitor, and audit any inventory of all purchases and use of spares and consumables on the facilities site i.e. MEP spares & sanitary consumables. Order stock as required.
  • Be on call for staff and campus emergencies with the expectation of attending to site issues if on-site staff are unable to manage the situation.

  • Receive all repair and maintenance requests from staff relating to the school building and campus facilities in general. Prioritise and coordinate work schedules to a high level of efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Advise disposal / condemnation of old / unused assets in a timely manner and in line with the assets disposal policy.

Project Overview and Role:

The goal of the USAID Trade Reform and Development in Egypt (TRADE) Project is to boost Egypt’s international trade by increasing exports from Egyptian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), and in particular New and Expanding Export-Ready Enterprises (NEEREs).

In order to achieve the Project’s goal, the project seeks to attain the following three Results:

  • Enhanced Export Capacity of SMEs in selected sectors
  • Strengthened public and private Trade-Support Institutions – (TSIs) e.g., Trade Associations,
  • Export Councils, etc.
  • Improved trade and investment policy, regulatory, and institutional environment

In implementing activities to accomplish the three results USAID TRADE aims to achieve the following targets, among others:

  • Generate USD225M in NEERE export revenue in selected sectors, collectively.
  • Help increase export revenue of TSI member companies benefiting from improved TSI services collectively, by 30%.
  • Help reduce cost/time and administrative procedures to trade.

To achieve those targets USAID TRADE will provide assistance to SMEs and TSIs in the following sectors:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

OBJECTIVES

The overall objective of the assignment is to support and enhance SMEs’ capacities to increase their exports through different ecommerce platforms and connect them to B2B international buyers through those platforms. The consultant will work closely with the project’s selected SMEs to assess their capacities, identify the technical assistance needs, connect them with different ecommerce players and actors worldwide, and provide them with the needed coaching and guidance.

Tasks

The consultant will support the USAID TRADE project with the following main responsibilities:

  • Work with USAID TRADE team to assess around 20 SMEs in terms of their readiness for ecommerce
  • Develop with USAID TRADE team ecommerce technical assistance action plans for SMEs.

  • Integrate and assess cloud security applications

  • Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of Bank's information security policy, standards, and guidelines
  • Work with head of Information Security on Bank's Internal Audit to ensure that departments consider information security risks in both ongoing and planned operations.
  • Monitor information security trends internal and external to the Bank and keep IS management informed about information security-related issues and activities affecting the Bank.
  • Understand potential threats, vulnerabilities, and control techniques and communicate the information to IT system & network administrators.
  • Assist Banks departments or units as necessary to investigate security breaches and pursue associated disciplinary and legal matters.
  • Assist the head of IS to maintain relationship with local and UAE federal law enforcement and other related government agencies.

The Commodity Insights Commercial and CX Graduate Program journey begins with an intensive 5-week onboarding in our London office.

The 3-months thereafter will be part of the EMEA Client Services Team, focusing on building a foundational knowledge of the commodity markets, developing essential business-related skills while learning about various Commodity Insights (CI) data, research and analytical products. At Client Services, you would be a primary contact for clients, providing solutions to their requests in a timely, professional and courteous manner and providing training on CI products through WebEx and onsite visits.

The program will consist of rotations to client services, sales, channel management and marketing functions. This will enable each graduate to gain a holistic perspective of the business. Combined with on-the-job learning, graduates must complete and pass certification milestones along with a rigorous evaluation process that will test and stretch their skills and capabilities. Responsibilities:


  • Help clients understand how to navigate and extract useful data from the S&P Global Commodity Insights product range.

  • Proactively reaching out to clients for face-to-face/WebEx training (this will apply towards the later stages of development once fully fluent and certified on the product range).
