HSE Engineer

1. Communicate the HSE plan, procedures, and standards to the worksite crew to ensure awareness.

2. Reports the HSE performance of the worksite as required.

3. Conducts site inspections and audits to verify compliance with the HSE requirements, report findings, and follow up corrective actions.

4. Prepares HSE presentation package for incidents review, HSE performance review, and HSE induction.

5. Attends Coordination Receptors HSE meetings.

6. Participate and monitor the STOP program or equivalent.

7. Investigate and report HSE incidents.

8. Participate in Risk Assessments.

9. Conduct HSE induction and topic meetings among Site Visitors and Stake Holders

10. Provide reports on relevant HSE activities to the Site Drilling Supervisor or Production Engineer

11. Monitor toolbox talks conducted at the work site and provide materials about HSE for discussion in the toolbox meeting.

12. Promote QHSE innovation and improvement within their team

13. Implement and comply with the QHSE Management System

  • Evaluate tender/proposal content requirements, assess feasibility, and manage deliverables.

  • Direct and manage a local team and company-wide subject experts to develop comprehensive, winning solutions, designs and bids for multinational water companies & EPCs

  • Develop and implement training for team members to ensure continuous skill enhancement and knowledge sharing.

  • Liaise with client/end-user at all stages to ensure a successful outcome.

  • Work closely with the engineer to develop technical solutions in line with the Company’s standards and overall philosophy.

  • Search and implement new technologies, processes, and product partners to ensure optimal solutions and opportunities for successful awards.

  • Technically and commercially review and sign off proposals under the relevant management approval structure.

  • Represent the Company at meetings, giving presentations and holding technical/commercial negotiations.

  • Develop in-house production of equipment and plants.

  • Identify and negotiate agreements/joint ventures with small business partners / key suppliers to boost project award prospects.

Our vision (with your expertise) is to manage a variety of projects together with our Design, Production and Installation team to establish excellent and profitable references in the water & wastewater treatment field.

Our projects are electromechanical nature-based. You will be responsible for managing projects through design, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and handover to ensure the successful delivery of new installation and refurbishment projects.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, schedule, organize, control and evaluate construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.

  • Liaise closely with the design/engineering team and ensure the final design is timely developed and client approval is secured.

  • Prepare technical data sheets, material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, proposal requests, and other construction-related correspondences and reports.

  • Develop detailed project plans and regularly monitor actual progress against established schedules and budgets.

  • Ensure that all the Company policies and procedures for ISO and OHSAS are strictly followed and maintained.

  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs and ensure variation orders are communicated timely to the clients.

  • Identify risks throughout the project lifecycle, analyze and ensure an effective response plan is implemented.

  • Perform project closeout walk-throughs with the client and verify that all project closeout documents and punch list items are completed



QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES & SKILLS:

  • University Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum 10 years of GCC experience in Project Management pertaining to water, wastewater and industrial effluent, with at least four of which as Project Manager. PMP certification is a plus

  • Experience with a manufacturing company in the field of water & wastewater treatment is preferable.

  • In-depth Technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process and its equipment – Mandatory.

  • Working Knowledge of Health & Safety

  • Pro at Cost & Risk Analysis, AUTO CAD, ISO Knowledge & PM Software

  • A UAE Driving License is required

  • Language Skills: English (fluent is a must)– Arabic (preferable) – German (would be an additional)

Commercial Manager

Role Purpose

Ensure contractual entitlements or pursue and maximize that positive cash flow is maintained and that contractual risk/matters are recognized, flagged, and resolved in a timely manner.

  • · Review the tender documents and provide suitable commercial qualifications to the estimation team for inclusion in our bids
  • · Review the LOI / LOA/ Contracts and negotiate with the main contractor/Clients for suitable amendments in favor of the organization.
  • · Ensure timely submission of bank guarantees and insurance
  • · Coordinate with the procurement team for suitable amendments to specialized subcontract agreements.
  • · Administer contracts to protect the organization’s interests in terms of managing risk and claims
  • · Prepare and submit claims as per contract requirements.
  • · Commercial management i.e. timely collection of payment, timely approval of variations, ensuring minimal variance between application v/s certification. (Maintain health relations with all stakeholders)
  • · Review and approve variation budgets as per internal process.
  • · Prepare monthly commercial reports
  • · Subcontract management: Negotiate with them for claims, and variations to avoid any impact on the project.
  • · Review and submit contractual correspondences to protect and secure our contractual entitlements
  • · Coordinate with the team with effective risk management and mitigation.
  • · Coordinate with the team for cost control measures.
  • · Validate the cost-to-come provided by the team
  • · Obtain taking over certificates and final acceptance certificates.
  • · Negotiate and conclude final accounts with main contractor/clients/subcontractors
  • · Timely retrieval of bank guarantees
  • · Project Documentation is in order
  • · Identify and notify the management of any potential disputes.
