Consistently recognized as a top workplace, CrowdStrike is committed to cultivating an inclusive, remote-first culture that offers people the autonomy and flexibility to balance the needs of work and life while taking their career to the next level. Interested in working for a company that sets the standard and leads with integrity? Join us on a mission that matters - one team, one fight. About the Role: Our Pre Sales Engineers provide the technical knowledge, experience and understanding to allow existing and new customers and partners to gain maximum value from our technology, from building world-class Security Operation Centers to acute post-breach response. The Pre Sales Manager leads this team, providing inspiration, guidance, training, development and assistance to drive the business forward. What Youll Do: You will be expected to build, develop and retain a strong team in a rapidly growing and evolving company. You’ll undoubtedly be required to recruit new team members to support the company growth, so you will need both a strong industry network and an excellent ability to work hand in hand with our recruitment team. However, you’ll also need to build from within, helping SEs in your team raise and refine their skills, implementing training programs and mentoring across the team. Your partners will be the Regional Directors of Sales. You will need to be joined at the hip, planning and executing together on a shared vision. In region you’ll also be partnered with a number of Marketing, Channel and other leaders, each with their own needs. To succeed, you will need to have a set of open, transparent relationships, building on mutual trust with each of these functions. Building wider relationships is also going to be key; Pre Sales can’t operate without the Post Sales team, so you will also be working with the Technical Account Management and Support Managers to ensure a great handover of existing accounts and ongoing management. You will need to have an open dialogue with your peers in our Reseller Partners, SIs, MSSPs, Store Partners and Technical Partners (3rd party vendors etc). Provide input back to the Product Management, Product Marketing Management and CTO team on future product and service developments your team discovers in the field, especially competitive intelligence. The technical, commercial, communication and negotiation skills needed to accomplish team goals won’t always be provided by others. While you will spend a lot of time coaching, you will also need to directly involve yourself in the most complex and valuable opportunities. To do this well you will need to bring industry knowledge and experience and the ability and willingness to do the job of a Pre Sales Engineer from time to time. In short, sometimes you just roll up your sleeves and get stuck in. What Youll Need: Experience of leading a team previously, either as a Manager or Team Leader; this isn’t a role you could jump into from an individual contributor position. You will have coached a team, developed them, recruited and dealt with enough performance challenges in the past to have built strong skills in these areas. Strong understanding of the security marketplace, ideally with multiple vendors and solutions. It is not critical to be an endpoint security expert, but it would certainly help. Understanding SOC workflows, technology and challenges is key, alongside cloud computing, security, and technical architectures. Confident presenter, tactical and strategic planner. Proven experience in managing 7 digit deals in an enterprise environment being able to define the strategy to be successful at the technical level engaging internal and external resources at the best to support the top opportunity in all the life cycle. Bonus Points: Being well connected with C-Level and organization like CESIN and ANSSI is considered as added value for this position, as is strategic to have these relationships to grow the business into the country. Experience with malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysis. Experience with programming or scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and Bash. Experience with virtualization/VDI technologies. Experience with large scale cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, etc. Understanding of the OSI model. Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, and SANS. #LI-Remote #LI-EF1 Benefits of Working at CrowdStrike: Remote-first culture Market leader in compensation and equity awards with option to participate in ESPP in eligible countries Competitive vacation and flexible working arrangements Physical and mental wellness programs Paid parental leave, including adoption A variety of professional development and mentorship opportunities Access to CrowdStrike University, LinkedIn Learning and Jhanna Offices with stocked kitchens when you need to fuel innovation and collaboration Birthday time-off in your local country Work with people who are passionate in our mission and Great Place to Work certified across the globe We are committed to fostering a culture of belonging where everyone feels seen, heard, valued for who they are and empowered to succeed.
